The decorative paint finish for this modern farmhouse kitchen cabinetry received multiple paint and glazing application steps including thick distressed paint with chipped paint effects exposes the undertone of wood coming through.

The Tabletop was designed and custom built with refurbished weathered barn board and a special treatment including distressing the edges and adding a color tone glaze to match the overall coloring of the natural wood patina. A protective flat sheen varnish was applied over the surface to lock down the splintering wood, making it smooth to the touch.

The decoratively painted mantel and surrounding was inspired by a 18th century historic property the client fell in love with. The inside of the walk in fireplace was painted to look like its as old as the mantel.

The multi-step process involved recreating the distressed splintering wood texture and faux wood graining. This included details of faux wood dowels and hand carved heart shaped ornaments.

The Art Floor was painted for this formal dining room inspired from a painted floor the owners came across in Nantucket. The dining room has an eclectic collection of amazing art and decorative arts. The painted floor embellishes the collection.

The squares measure 24” x 24” and each design is unique and one-of-a-kind. I describe the creative designs as bohemian-esque. By request, I secretly wrote the names of each of their children in one of the designs for them to find.

The iron falcon is a decorative ornamental sculpture created by Robert Dionne. The outer rustic coating is a unique multi-step ferrous paint application that instantly oxidizes to appear aged and weathered.

The weathered whale is a primitive decorative sculpture created by Robert Dionne. Inspired by an early American weather vane, a true emblem of New England's historic once-upon-a-time whaling industry. The unique outer coating portrays a rustic oxidized wrought iron surface.

The decoratively painted floors are reflective to the homes they where painted for. Each design was methodically laid out to the scale of the space complimentary to the surrounding home decor.

The custom built-in-cabinetry are custom mixed stain color and a faux antique coloring application enhanced the quality of the cabinetry.

The interior of these historic properties received decorative painting to match the existing aged distressed painted finishes, this included toning the refurbished flooring, wood ceiling beams and floor boards without altering the character of the original patina finishes.

The grist millstone was created out of styrofoam, then a granular ridged material was applied over the foam material with a faux paint application to replicate the granite stone color.

The commissioned mural for this gallery was inspired by the owners beautiful country estate in spring time. Painted in warm monochromatic color tones with splashes of early spring blossom colors.

The soft billowy fog rolling in from the distant giving it a heavenly presence. The mural brings warmth and life to this narrow passing. A walk in nature for a lifetime.

The yellow & black floor for this entryway and back hallway was inspired by the owners love of nature and favorite things such as dogwoods, fiddlebacks, ferns and morel mushrooms. The yellowish brown fields were painted to resemble wood graining patterns with selective areas to receive the ‘favorite things’.

The painted floor softens the formality of the space bringing a whimsy and welcoming presence.

The mural was painted for a dining room to celebrate the September 11th 1777 Battle of Brandywine, a major battle during the American Revolutionary War.

Painted in a color pallet of delft blue and antique monochromatic color tones, the mural sets this traditional dining room and adds great depth to the space.

This grand formal living room received a rustic texture application and a faux color toning to give it a old world appeal. The beams received a dark antique color toning.

Silver leaf was applied to selective moldings and decorative accent motifs. The detail added to this living room brings warmth and will be cherished for a lifetime.

Over the monochromatic brown and tan colored living room, a dark antique brown colored glaze was applied to enhance the architectural moldings and age the silver leaf decorative elements.
